What Is CEREC Technology?
The CEREC system (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is an advanced computer-assisted technology used to design and create porcelain tooth restorations. With digital imaging, the broken teeth are scanned, thus showing exactly which restoration is necessary. The finished porcelain crown restores the tooth’s shape and size, is esthetically appealing, and the tooth is protected and strengthened.
